Tallinn is building a temporary multiuse path through the closed Kopli freight yard to connect the popular Telliskivi and Krulli Quarter neighborhoods in Põhja-Tallinn. The €200,000 project will create a direct cycling route spanning over a kilometer between Pelgulinn and Kalamaja, offering an alternative to the narrow sidewalk along Kopli Street. Tallinn has approved a detailed plan for significant commercial and residential development at the prominent Stockmann intersection where Tartu maantee meets Rävala puiestee. Tõrva has officially opened the Lion Tower (Lõvitorn), the tallest diving tower in the Baltics, on the shore of Lake Vanamõisa. Standing 14 meters high with its highest diving platform at 11 meters above water, the illuminated structure replaces the town's legendary old diving platform while maintaining Tõrva's reputation as a diving destination.
