π§ Roads
Traffic modeling has confirmed that a roundabout is the optimal solution for Tallinn's problematic Kristiine (Taksopargi) intersection. The city plans to transform the currently chaotic junction with three major changes: consolidating public transport stops in front of Kristiine Center, converting the intersection to a roundabout, and moving buses and trolleys to center-street lanes instead of roadside positions. The design will accommodate future tram connections from the Liivalaia line, expected to reach Kristiine by 2029. Click here to learn more
