🚑 Patrol

Tallinn's ambulance bike patrol is back for summer season, already responding to 21 calls since June 1. Japanese exchange students Musubi Miyashita and Jiu Miura came to Estonia after being captivated by the Song and Dance Festival and learned Estonian in just 10 months. Both will perform in next month's Song Festival choir after attending local high schools in Loo and Kohila. The teens found Estonian grammar and pronunciation challenging compared to Japanese, with Miyashita noting Estonians' reserved nature was difficult to adjust to. The Estonian Padel Association joined the Estonian Olympic Committee as the tennis-like Mexican sport explodes in popularity. Nearly 5,000 people now play padel in Estonia across 100+ courts, with 60 located in Tallinn alone.
